Fletcher Handley on the Map Again – Named Trial Lawyer of the Year
In a ceremony held on this November 2nd, Fletcher Dal Handley. Jr. was passed the gavel s President of the Oklahoma Association for Justice (OAJ) President. For almost 40 years Handley has been a member of this association and been a part of the OAJ Executive Committee since 2012. He mostly was known as an extremely reputed civil attorney and a founder member of Handley Law Center in El Reno and Oklahoma City.
We also take pride to announce that Handley is also honored as OAJ’s Trial Lawyer of the Year. This honor comes when an attorney is recognized for the contribution to the society, mostly because of the significant casework made in public interest. As a personal injury attorney in OKC, he has received the prestigious Tomy D. Frasier Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015. This was because of his unparalleled contribution and activism to ensure the legal rights of men and women.
He is a Juris Doctorate from the OU College of Law in 1979 and was Oklahoma’s Outstanding Young Lawyer in 1983. Again 1999 is marked as another benchmark of his career. He was testified in front of the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee on behalf of the American Bar Association standing against a proposed National No-Fault Auto Insurance bill.
His primary focus areas of practice were personal injury law and he mostly worked for the people who were injured in truck or auto accidents. Now he is an active member of Handley law Center and working as a personal and criminal defense injury attorney in OKC.
